About Notes Recorder

Built by people who know what it feels like to run from one meeting into the next.

Notes Recorder started with a familiar executive problem: important conversations were happening all day, decisions were being made quickly, action items were scattered across notes and memory, and there was rarely enough time between meetings to turn a live discussion into a clean follow-up. The short version: we have been there.

The origin

The idea came from the founder's own operating pain.

Akshay Zimare, the founder of NotesRecorder.ai, has spent decades in technology leadership, technical program management, PMO leadership, product and systems work, business analysis, design, strategy, and people management. That background comes from senior operating experience inside major technology organizations and means living inside the rhythm of real work: status reviews, planning sessions, customer escalations, governance meetings, operating reviews, stakeholder updates, and the quick follow-ups that determine whether a decision actually turns into action.

The pain was not that meetings were happening. The pain was everything after and during the meeting: capturing the transcript while the call was still live, keeping up with decisions as they happened, noticing risks before they drifted, and turning a conversation into crisp notes before the next meeting started.

We had tried the obvious options. Some were too heavy. Some required a bot to join the call. Some required calendar connections, meeting-platform setup, desktop apps, or browser extensions. Some produced notes only after the meeting ended. None felt like the fastest possible answer to a very practical need: open the web app, press Record, and see useful notes form while the meeting is still happening.

01

Meeting notes should be live, not a post-meeting chore.

People who lead programs, products, operations, and teams often need to understand the conversation while it is still unfolding. A live transcript and running summary make it easier to stay oriented, catch up, and verify what was actually said.

02

Action items should be clear enough to move work forward.

The point is not to preserve every spoken sentence as a task. The point is to turn the discussion into concise actions, owners, due dates when available, decisions, risks, and context that another person can understand without replaying the entire meeting.

03

The fastest tool is the one you can open immediately.

Notes Recorder is browser-first by design. No bot joins your call. No desktop app is required. No Chrome extension is required. No calendar or Zoom setup is required. Create an account, open the recorder, and start.

Why this product exists

We built it for people responsible for the follow-up.

If you are the person expected to send the recap, track the risks, follow the owners, explain the decision, or brief the next stakeholder, you need notes that are more than a transcript. You need the conversation organized into sections, summarized in plain language, and connected to the actions that matter.

That is the shape of Notes Recorder: a live transcript on one side, a running executive summary at the top, and meeting minutes that break the conversation into topics with clear bullets and action items. The goal is not to replace judgment. The goal is to give busy people a clean starting point while the context is still fresh.

We built Notes Recorder because we know the meeting reality from the inside. We have lived the back-to-back calendar, the high-stakes operating review, the messy cross-functional discussion, the follow-up that needs to be right, and the feeling of needing five quiet minutes that the day simply does not give you.
