Using the service

Notes Recorder helps users record conversations, generate transcripts, and create AI-assisted meeting notes. You are responsible for having the right to record, transcribe, and process each meeting you capture.

Recording consent

You are responsible for telling participants when a meeting is being recorded and for getting any consent required by law, workplace policy, contract, or meeting rules. Do not use Notes Recorder for conversations you are not allowed to record, transcribe, store, or process.

Accounts and subscriptions

A paid subscription is required to use AI note generation, saved meeting history, and export features. Lite costs $5 per month and includes 180 recording minutes per monthly billing period. Starter costs $19 per month and includes 1,800 recording minutes, and Pro costs $39 per month and includes 3,600 recording minutes per monthly billing period.

Usage is measured by recorded audio duration, not by the number of saved meetings in history. Each metered meeting is rounded up to the next whole minute, with a one-minute minimum. Deleting a saved meeting removes it from your history, but it does not restore recording minutes already used during the billing period.

Subscription checkout, billing, invoices, payment method updates, and the billing portal are handled by our payment processor. Prices, plan limits, and included features may change with reasonable notice. If a payment fails or a subscription cannot be verified, access to paid features may be paused until billing is resolved.

Cancellations and refunds

You can manage or cancel your subscription from the Billing section of your account. Cancellation stops future renewals and generally leaves paid access active until the end of the current billing period. Paid subscriptions provide immediate access to included recording minutes. Unless required by law or specifically approved by Notes Recorder, subscription fees are not prorated or automatically refunded after a billing period starts, after recording minutes are used, or because a saved meeting was deleted.

If you believe you were charged in error, had a duplicate charge, or could not use the service because of a verified product issue, contact support@notesrecorder.ai with your account email and a short explanation. Refund requests are reviewed case by case. We may decline repeated or abusive refund requests, requests after substantial use, or requests connected to activity that violates these terms.

Nothing in these terms limits non-waivable consumer rights. Where required by law, checkout or account flows may ask you to agree to immediate access to digital services and acknowledge that using the service can affect cancellation, refund, or withdrawal rights.

Acceptable use

You may not use Notes Recorder to break the law, record people without required consent, upload content you do not have rights to process, attack the service, or interfere with other customers.

AI output

AI-generated notes can be incomplete, inaccurate, or missing important context. You should review summaries, action items, owners, due dates, decisions, and transcripts before relying on them or sharing them with others.

Customer data

You keep ownership of your transcripts and meeting notes. By using the product, you allow Notes Recorder to process that data as needed to provide the service.

Privacy and security

Meeting content can include sensitive information. You agree not to submit information that you are not authorized to process. We describe how account data, meeting content, support requests, and payment-related data are handled in the Privacy Policy.

Accessibility

Notes Recorder aims to make the public site and app usable by people with disabilities and uses WCAG 2.2 Level AA as the product target. If an accessibility barrier prevents you from using the service, contact support@notesrecorder.ai and include the page, device, browser, assistive technology if applicable, and what you were trying to do.

Availability

We aim to keep the service reliable, but availability can be affected by maintenance, hosting issues, third-party providers, or events outside our control.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if an account violates these terms, creates security risk, or causes harm to the service or other customers.
